Hey, I’m Mal.

I’m a designer and art director based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Over the years, I’ve fallen in love with helping brands tell their story in ways that feel real and memorable. That’s everything from crafting brand identities and rolling out social campaigns, to concepting TV spots and building websites. Something can look gorgeous, but if it doesn’t have solid strategy or a human story to back it up, it’s not going to stick.

I’ve had the chance to work on a mix of national and regional brands across retail, healthcare and travel. Each one teaching me something new and keeping my highly curious.

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me lifting weights, hunting for vintage gems, sipping a latte, or getting headbutts from my cat, Pooty. (Yes, that’s his real name. You’ll have to meet him to understand.)
